Lithuanian Society of Pathology is an independent organization of Lithuanian pathologists and other professionals whose professional or scientific interests are related to pathology.
The main goals of Society is to unite the pathologists, coordinate the activities of professional education, promote the specialty of pathologists, represent the interests of members.
The Society was founded on 22 April, 1954 by 6 famous Lithuanian pathologists. Society currently has more than 80 members.
The Society organizes the annual general congresses and other professional meetings. In between congresses the Society is represented by the Board of 8 members and the Chairman of the Board. Mrs. Inga Gudinavičienė is the chairman of the Board since 1 February, 2013.
